Infants who have complications due to premature birth, infections or health challenges are admitted to our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Wesley’s Level III NICU in Wichita is the largest in the region and provides board-certified neonatologists and hospitalists on campus 24/7.
In addition, our NICU offers a highly educated, compassionate support team that consists of specialized neonatal nurses, neonatal respiratory therapists, a women’s nurse navigator and a genetic counselor.

Jolinda Kelley, BSN,N RN
A graduate of Newman University, Jolinda has worked with women in Wesley’s antepartum and gynecological surgery unit for more than 15 years. She is a current foster parent who has cared for more than 50 children, all of whom have had additional mental or physical needs.
As a result, she is well acquainted with the various social services available and understands the emotional needs of parents dealing with serious issues involving their children.
