3D stereotactic biopsy
This minimally invasive procedure uses a needle to take a sample of abnormal tissue. The tissue sample is then reviewed in the lab.
Blood tests

Bone density test
A bone density test measures bone mass and helps determine if osteoporosis is present. If osteoporosis is present, the test also confirms the stage of the disease.

Heart scan
A coronary calcium scan is a heart screening tool that obtains information about the presence, location and extent of calcified plaque in the coronary arteries (vessels that supply blood to the heart). The scan is non-invasive.
Lung screening
The best defense against lung cancer is lung cancer screening for patients who are at high risk for developing the disease. Wesley Healthcare uses low-dose computed tomography (CT) scanning to perform lung cancer screening.
Oncology diagnostics
We offer a variety of tests, including blood tests, to evaluate types of cancer cells.
Thyroid disorders diagnostics
Wesley uses combination of tests, including blood tests and imaging tests, among others, to diagnose thyroid disorders.

Wesley Healthcare's highly skilled team of medical professionals, including board-certified pathologists, chemists, certified clinical laboratory scientists, lab assistants and other specialists, work collaboratively to provide outstanding laboratory services to our patients in Wichita.
The clinical management of our lab is provided by Wesley Pathology Consultants, P.A. and Wichita Diagnostic Pathology, L.L.C. These organizations engage the services of board-certified pathologists and Ph.D. clinical scientists to oversee departmental operations.
