WICHITA – Wesley is offering a new health education program just for women called “Women’s Health from A-Z.” The program will offer medical education on a variety of women’s health topics.
Upcoming fall/winter presentations include:
Hereditary Breast Cancer – Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2-3:00pm
Find out if you’re at risk for breast cancer as breast surgeon Christina Nicholas, MD, along with a patient, speaks about hereditary breast cancer and genetic testing for the BRCA mutation.
Pelvic Floor Dysfunction – Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2-3:00pm
Edgar LeClaire, MD, a leading urogynecologist, will speak about pelvic floor dysfunction and treatment options. His specialized services help women suffering from incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse and a variety of problems involving the female pelvis.
The presentations will be held at Corporate Caterers, located at 2949 N. Rock Road. Pie and coffee will be served. Cost is $4 and payable at the door. Make reservations by calling the Wesley Friends office at 316.962.8400.
