
WICHITA –Wesley Healthcare has promoted Jennifer Scheuber, RN, to its new director of supply chain.
“Jennifer has been the assistant director of supply chain since March of last year and came to the department with a wealth of clinical experience, having served as an RN in various nurse management roles in the emergency department and teleservice lines,” said Benjamin Troy, chief operating officer, HCA continental division.
In this role, Scheuber will oversee all aspects of purchasing, production planning and scheduling, inventory, shipping and receiving, vendor contract management, operational management, process analysis and improvement and the delivery of good and services to providers and patients.
Scheuber began her nursing career at Wesley Medical Center as a staff nurse in 2008 before transitioning to a nurse educator in 2012. In 2014, she began working in the emergency department at Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & ER as an assistant nurse manager and then manager until 2017. She served as the manager of Wesley’s surgical/telemetry unit until becoming the assistant supply chain director in 2018.
“I’m excited to continue to improve the supply chain operations at Wesley Healthcare,” Scheuber said.
Scheuber earned her EMT certificate from Butler Community College in Andover, Kansas, and her paramedic certificate from Wichita State University. She graduated from Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas, with an associate’s degree in nursing, and received a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in business administration from Tabor College in Wichita, Kansas.
