Cardiac rehabilitation aims to help you recover from a cardiovascular event — such as a heart attack or heart failure — or other debilitating heart condition. This recovery process usually involves physical therapy, exercise and education to rebuild and maintain your heart strength.

Cardiac rehabilitation specialist at Wesley Medical Center
Cardiac rehabilitation at Wesley Medical Center is offered in partnership with our outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation program and is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).

Cardiac rehab location and appointments
Outpatient cardiac rehabilitation services are provided in the Medical Arts Tower on the Wesley Medical Center campus. Our office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

A physician prescription and insurance authorization are required. When you call to schedule an appointment, we will need your name, birth date, diagnosis, date when problems began, treatment ordered, physician's name, insurance information and a daytime phone number.
Please report to the admissions office 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
