We treat all types of stroke at Wesley Medical Center, including both hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes. We use the latest technology and medicines to treat stroke, including the clot-busting drug tPA, tissue plasminogen activator.
Additionally, we work to prevent stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation, a heart rhythm disorder, through warfarin medication and the WATCHMAN™ left atrial appendage closure implant.
