Pre-Admission Testing Clinic

The Wesley Birth Care Suites Pre-Admission Testing Clinic (PAT) helps save time for expectant moms with scheduled cesarean sections (C-sections) or a schedule induction of delivery. Between 24-72 hours before the schedule deliver, expectant mothers will meet with the PAT nurse to complete a series of documentation and lab work to prevent schedule delays.

The PAT appointment should last about an hour and include:

  • Review of obstetric history and current medications
  • Lab work
  • Pre-delivery education
  • Pre-admission paperwork

If requested by your OB/GYN, expectant moms can have a consultation with an anesthesiologist if the birth is considered high risk or the OB/GYN thinks it is necessary.

The clinic is located at Wesley Birth Care Suites, 3222 E. Murdock and is open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. or after hours by appointment only. To schedule an appointment call (316) 962 8825.
