The Wichita Kidney Transplant Institute will offer referring physicians and their patients access to high-quality, specialized kidney transplant services close to home. Wesley's stone treatment center uses specialized technology to destroy kidney stones using shock waves rather than surgery. Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner/Sexual Assault Response Team
Designed to help victims of sexual assault, this department has 13 compassionate nurse examiners who work closely with other members of the area sexual assault team including social workers, law enforcement, advocacy agencies and the district attorney’s offices from many jurisdictions. The program utilizes registered nurses specifically trained to provide comfort and thorough assessment for patients, help prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, collect forensic evidence, photo-document and diagram all injuries. After the examination is completed, our nurses and physicians help connect patients to resources they may need once they leave the hospital. No patient information is ever disclosed.
