Visitor restrictions

As of 5:00am Wednesday, March 23, 2022, Wesley Healthcare has lifted all visitor restrictions at its Wesley Medical Center, Wesley Woodlawn Hospital, Wesley West ER and Wesley Derby ER facilities.

  • Due to space constraints, only one visitor or designated support person, per patient, will be allowed in the hospital-based emergency rooms at Wesley Medical Center and Wesley Woodlawn.
  • All patients, visitors, physicians and staff MUST wear a mask at all times inside the facility, per guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC).
  • No children under the age of 12 will be allowed; however, exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
  • Visitors with cold/flu symptoms or a pending COVID-19 test are asked not to enter the facility.

Visiting hours are from 6:00am to 8:00pm daily.

Our staff reserves the right to further limit visitors as needed to maintain the safety of our visitors. However, circumstances may also allow for specific exceptions to the visitation criteria, including religious visitation, end-of-life situations, a designated support person for a patient with a disability to provide assistance with communication or other necessary components of the patient’s treatment, and others—which will be granted on a case-by-case basis. All persons entering under an exception remain subject to appropriate infection control protocols.
