Wesley Trauma Services recognizes the unique role that physicians, physician assistants, hospital personnel, and pre-hospital providers play in the care of trauma patient. From initial stabilization and resuscitation at the closest treatment site ttreatment at our Level 1 Trauma Center, ongoing communication is necessary tmaintain continuity of care. Wesley's trauma outreach program provides feedback tour healthcare partners through patient updates and outreach case reviews.
Education:
As a Level I Trauma Center, Wesley Medical Center is committed tproviding trauma education ttrauma centers, hospitals, physicians, and pre-hospital agencies throughout the State of Kansas. Wesley Medical Center’s physicians and nurses travel toutlying communities tprovide educational lectures for health care providers.
Continuing education classes related tadult and pediatric trauma care are offered thealth-care providers, as part of Wesley's outreach activities.
