Wesley Trauma Services recognizes the unique role that physicians, physician assistants, hospital personnel, and pre-hospital providers play in the care of trauma patient. From initial stabilization and resuscitation at the closest treatment site treatment at our Level 1 Trauma Center, ongoing communication is necessary maintain continuity of care. Wesley's trauma outreach program provides feedback tour healthcare partners through patient updates and outreach case reviews.

Education:

As a Level I Trauma Center, Wesley Medical Center is committed providing trauma education trauma centers, hospitals, physicians, and pre-hospital agencies throughout the State of Kansas. Wesley Medical Center’s physicians and nurses travel to outlying communities to provide educational lectures for health care providers.

Continuing education classes related adult and pediatric trauma care are offered to health-care providers, as part of Wesley's outreach activities.
