Mission

The mission of Wesley's Continuing Medical Education program is to implement and evaluate educational activities based on the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) guidelines, to improve physician competence, practice and patient outcomes for Kansas physicians.

Services include:

  • Planning and managing major conferences, regularly scheduled series, and life-support courses for physicians in compliance with accreditation guidelines of the Kansas Medical Society and Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.
  • Keeping records of educational hours earned at Wesley Medical Center and other locations.

Wesley Medical Center is accredited by the Kansas Medical Society to sponsor continuing education for physicians. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activities.

For Learners

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are offered through the American Heart Association training center, Lifesafer Learning, by appointment. For registration information, call Mike Ferguson at 316-239-8811.
