WICHITA –Wesley Healthcare has launched a new public website as part of its system branding initiative. The site – which remains www.wesleymc.com – includes several aesthetic and functional upgrades to help prospective patients and visitors learn more about Wesley services and facilities.
The site also better represents the growing Wesley Healthcare system, which this year announced plans to build Wesley Children’s Hospital and Wesley Derby ER to join its existing facilities like Wesley Medical Center, Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & ER and Wesley West ER & Diagnostic Center.
“As we’ve grown our services, we needed to grow our online presence to ensure our community has access to all we have to offer,” said Nick Adams, Wesley Healthcare’s vice president of marketing and public relations. “The new site also allows us to better detail those services through videos and interactive tools that can help simplify what can sometimes be complicated topics.”
The site also represents the latest in responsive web design, making the site and content easily accessible from mobile devices. Despite the increase in people using mobile devices to access the internet, only 4.7 percent of websites are mobile friendly, according to a recent Google study.
“As the adoption of smartphones and tablets continues to increase, so does the importance of mobile friendly websites like this,” Adams said. “We want our patients and visitors to have a great experience accessing our web site from whatever device they use.”
